Docker River Primary

Docker River (also called Kaltukatjara) is a community located in the south-western corner of the Northern Territory. It is 670km by road from Alice Springs and 230km from Yulara. The population fluctuates but is estimated at about 420. The main languages spoken are Pitjantjatjara and Ngaanyatjara. The community is served by an unsealed airstrip, general store, football oval, health and community agencies, and a Lutheran church. The community footy team is the Docker River Eagles.
